EVE
Eve Büchner began her career as a journalist and TV presenter in Germany, where she worked for broadcasters such as Sat.1, n-tv and N24. She became particularly well known as the presenter of the programme ‘Blitz’. Her TV career came to an end in 2010 when she turned her attention to founding companies. In 2007, she founded her first start-up, switch.me, a platform that connected TV viewers and presenters via the internet and webcams. Her best-known company, however, is refund.me, a service provider that helps air passengers enforce their rights against airlines, particularly in the event of flight delays and cancellations.
In addition to her work as an entrepreneur and investor, Büchner founded the venture capital company quantumReality GmbH in 2011, which focuses on seed investments in the areas of e-commerce, software development and patents. She now lives alternately in Potsdam, Miami and Silicon Valley, where she continues to develop her company and launch new projects.
